About the Fighting Cancer Foundation
Cris Kramer established Fighting Cancer Foundation in 2009 after watching her mother suffer through a harrowing battle with cancer a few years earlier. Her treatment created even more physical and psychological problems as the equipment used to deliver the radiation were subpar. After speaking with hospital officials, Cris discovered that they were aware of the problem, but didn’t have the funds to correct it. She began The Fighting Cancer Foundation to bring state-of-the-art equipment used to treat cancer to underserved public medical facilities around the world.
